Description

Create clear, accurate documentation that powers safe, repeatable network deployments and operations—MOPs/SOPs, run-books, installation guides, API docs for AWiPS, and compliance artifacts. Collaborate with SMEs across Engineering, NOC, and Field Ops to publish version-controlled content used by 2,500+ technicians nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Develop MOPs/SOPs, run-books, and troubleshooting guides for field and NOC teams
Author and maintain AWiPS user/admin/API documentation and release notes
Create diagrams and visuals; enforce templates, terminology, and version control
Interview SMEs; validate procedures in lab or sandbox prior to publication
Support proposals/RFPs with technical method statements and process overviews
Continuously improve documentation accessibility, searchability, and governance

Requirements

4+ yrs technical writing in networking/telecom or adjacent infrastructure domains
Ability to read configs/logs and translate SME input into operator-ready procedures
Proficiency with Confluence/Markdown/Sphinx (or DITA) and diagramming tools
Understanding of IP fundamentals (BGP/OSPF), PON/DOCSIS basics, and change control
Experience producing SOC 2/ISO 27001-aligned controlled documentation
Meticulous editor with portfolio demonstrating complex procedural content
